Corporate Social Responsibility

The Community, Our Responsibility

The success of our business has been built through the trust that the community has placed in us. We understand that contributing back to society is the way forward in building an inclusive society where everybody succeeds. Simultaneously, it is also our objective of fostering responsibility and the privilege of being able to give amongst our team members.

We have been involved in:

Corporate Social Responsibility

Lending a Helping Hand

In line with our belief that helping goes beyond finances, we have been rendering assistance to the financially-disadvantaged through the Braddell Heights Community Centre to deliver food and daily necessities on a monthly basis. While we have provided for others, our team members have also gained enlightened perspectives on the privileges that they may have taken for granted, cultivating one of our company’s core values – responsibility.

Education

On the education front, we firmly believe that engaging youths at an early age can help realise their potential and develop their sense of purpose in life. It is the belief of the value that vocational institutes can bring to our society that we consistently collaborate with the Institute of Technical Education (ITE) to offer scholarships and training opportunities for its students.

At the tertiary education level, ABWIN has contributed to Nanyang Technological University (NTU) through its Business & Community Partners (BCP) programme which recognises promising undergraduates who face financial challenges and strive to realise their full potential with financial assistance.

Engaging Senior Citizens

In line with our belief that “Old is Gold”, we have been supportive of the government’s drive to fuel the “silver industry”. Experience and wisdom comes with age and we acknowledge the value that seniors within our community can offer us. Our engagement with the North East Community Development Council (NECDC) demonstrates our support in allowing seniors to showcase their talents and experience through “second career” opportunities.
